Stop Motion Wedding Films

We build your wedding day into a 3-5 minute stop motion film: thousands of individual photographs, stitched together frame by frame until your day starts to move. It's a different animal from traditional videography, closer to watching a flipbook of your wedding than a movie of it. The camera never stops, so what you get isn't a handful of chosen scenes. It's the whole arc of the day, compressed.
We shoot heavy and edit down to what actually happened. Getting ready, the walk down the aisle, the dance floor at 10pm when nobody's thinking about a camera anymore. Some of it's beautiful and some of it's just funny, and both make the cut. We're building something closer to a time capsule than a highlight reel: fun to watch at year one, and a different thing at year ten, when you recognize people in the background you'd forgotten were there.

Every frame is a photograph.
Because we shoot these as stills, any single frame can be pulled out and treated as a photo. It gets edited in the same tones as the rest of your gallery, so it sits next to everything else from the day without looking like a screenshot. Footage doesn't translate that way.
It's still just the two of us.
No second crew, no tripods, no mics on your officiant. We shoot the film with the same gear and the same approach we use for your photographs, capturing both formats as the day goes. Which means adding a stop motion film doesn't add a person to your wedding, or a budget line for one.
Twelve weeks, start to finish.
Photos come back in about eight weeks. Films take twelve. There are processing steps that photographs don't require, and rushing them shows.
